Thank you everyone for all your support since GenevaBaby has been online. Unfortunately, as destiny would have it, my family and i are moving away from Geneva and GenevaBaby is now having to be put to rest indefinitely.

Plan Toys Woodpecker Walker

The Plan Toys vendor is at Signy Center again.  I can't help but stop by every time he (and also this other vendor) comes by to look at what he has to offer and i've come to love Plan Toys products more and more each time.  First, with the Woodpecker Walker above.  Unfortunately, i had already bought little K her car/walker and no matter how much i loved the Woodpecker Walker, i just couldn't bring myself to spend another 100 CHF on another walker.

I decided to do a little research on Plan Toys today and found out that they're Thai-based company with what they call green concepts:

PlanToys practices the "Three R's" of green living: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Our manufacturing processes are designed to reduce waste and save energy. We reuse materials, and have introduced innovative methods to recycle paper and other products. We are always looking for new ways to improve and preserve our environment.

Gift Box

Earlier this month, GenevaBaby was asked to put together a special treat for a new mom and we delivered!

Our customer wanted something special for both baby and mom.  With the oh-so-brr-cold of the current months, we suggested a Pipi Child set, which comes with a wrap blanket, a sleeveless onesie and a beanie hat.  We also suggested little Pixies Trumpette socks to keep the baby's toesies warm not only during these early months, but for the rest of the year to come and finally, we included a pink bird Label Label blankie.

Diapers, we just can't seem to have enough of them can we? It's time to stock up again.

Coop is having their buy two get one free sale on Pampers this week. So, pee and poop away, little ones.

Trumpette Footwear

We've just marked down prices on Trumpette Footwear.  Pick up yours today before they're all out the door.

Trumpette socks are great because they all have non-slip soles.  Why is this important?  Because it gets freaking slippery on the many non-carpeted floors that we have in our apartments and houses here in Swissy Land.  Trumpette socks will help your wobbly little ones get a grip.

UNICEF is amongst the organizations of which i am a huge supporter.  If you by any chance are looking to make a donation to aid the relief efforts in Haiti and are uncertain as to which organization to make a contribution to, then i suggest for you to consider UNICEF Switzerland.

Altholugh this UNICEF page is only available in French, German and Italian, the reason why i'm suggesting the Swiss fund is because you can make a donation in Swiss Francs, thus eliminating any currency exchange fees.  However, if you feel uncomfortable navigating the Swiss site due to language, then consider stopping by the UNICEF USA site.

Everyday is a Birthday

Growing up in the States, cupcakes wasn't so much a trend thing, but a typical birthday party standard.  However, in recent years, it seems that a cupcake phenomenon is sweeping the rest of the world.  The first time i heard of a cupcake bakery was in London, the Hummingbird Bakery.  Now, it seems that the cupcake craze is also hitting Geneva.

Clementine

Just when i thought i got my baby girl under control everything goes whack again. Schedules change, patterns change, behavior change. My great eater is now a horrible eater. My always happy baby is now a consistent whiner. I slowly came to discover though that she was becoming more and more attached to her monkey. She used to only want him when she slept, but now, she'd go to her crib in search for him throughout the day.
